Professional Wedding Photographer - Steve Tinetti, Denver Colorado

Steve's humble beginning into photography started behind the customer service counter at a local camera store. The pay was not great and the atmosphere was more of a retail environment than photography. But just being around anything to do with cameras and photography was, in a word, good. From there, Steve went on to accept a position with the US headquarters of a major camera manufacturer where he worked in Customer Service and Marketing for several years. Through this time, Steve was exposed to all the latest trends in photography, photographic equipment and techniques.

It was also during this time that Steve accepted an offer from a local wedding photographer to tag along as an assistant on the weekends. Again, the pay was not great and the days were long, but the experience of being part of the excitement and pageantry of a wedding was exhilarating to say the least. Under the tutoring of a caring mentor, Steve learned much about wedding photography. Beyond basic lighting techniques, lens selection and loading film, Steve learned the importance of having fun and rolling with the punches only a wedding can bring. He studied his mentor, as he would interact with the couple and their families to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The resulting images showed so much more than subjects smiling for the camera. They showed true emotion - the kind of emotion that would be felt and relived year after year, anniversary after anniversary. They showed detail and color as vibrant and ornate as they were remembered. They showed moments of happiness, contentment, romance and promise. They were meaningful, even to the casual observer. To Steve, this could mean only one thing; his mentor was not just a wedding photographer, he was an artist.

One day in 2004, it became obvious the time had come to say goodbye to the corporate world and begin the journey of achieving his own artistic vision. One he knew would mean so much, to so many.

Today, Steve practices the ethereal art of relationship photography; where expressions, emotions, lifestyles and memories are captured, each one a precious moment in life. As a free spirit "connoisseur of life", Steve enjoys capturing each slice shared his way, and would especially enjoy sharing a slice with you. :-)
